The next leg of our swashbuckling adventures landed us in Bogota, Colombia. Having never been to Colombia before, neither of us knew what to expect. It’s an astonishingly cool place, and very beautiful. You can see giant green mountains from pretty much anywhere in the city which will wow you to the ground. There’s a historical part of town called La Candelaria which is full of old cobble stone streets, old school buildings, amazing hole-in-the-wall type restaurants, and super cool bars in which all kinds of people can be seen drinking and booty dancing to “Culo” even at lunchtime! The party was held in the top floor of a parking lot in downtown Bogota. We checked it out in the afternoon and it was an indoor soccer field, then when we went back that night, it had been transformed into a proper rave warehouse.
