You know, just working on the album… writing love songs…In the studio

This party was undoubtedly the most hilarious and memorable of our whole tour, and possibly our careers.
We rolled into the party and from the get go, it was bananas.. It was held in a bowling alley for starters, but not just any regular bowling alley… The game was called Duckpin Bowling, which is a style of bowling with smaller pins, smaller balls, but regular sized lanes..  Plus you get three bowls per go.  The middle 3 or 4 lanes had been boarded over and there was a fenced off dance floor there.  It was a pretty small turnout with about 15 people there, but they were wild college kids ready to make crazy party.  We came to DJ and learned that there were no CDJ’s there.  We play entirely off of CD’s when we dj so we were a little stumped as to how we were going to maintain this party.

The DJ who was playing there called VKNG had serato and gave us a crash course whilst his hype man grabbed the mic and gave a running commentary on our tutorial.  Slowly a few more people turned up and i think we had a grand total of 27 by the end of the night (pictured above).

We preceded to do a DJ set out of all the other DJ’s tunes in his Serato, it was crazy, hilarious, and super fun.  These kids had made big painted Bag Raiders signs and everything!!!   The lights came up half way through but the party continued.  We wound out going back to one of their houses and partying our asses off for what was by far one of the biggest highlights of the tour.  Big Ups VA!!!!

We had an absolute blast all the way through America doing all the shows, sampling the best and worst (read: awesome) of food, and partying with a whole lot of great people in like a million different cities!! The next leg of our swashbuckling adventures landed us in Bogota, Colombia.  Having never been to Colombia before, neither of us knew what to expect.  It’s an astonishingly cool place, and very beautiful.  You can see giant green mountains from pretty much anywhere in the city which will wow you to the ground.  There’s a historical part of town called La Candelaria which is full of old cobble stone streets, old school buildings, amazing hole-in-the-wall type restaurants, and super cool bars in which all kinds of people can be seen drinking and booty dancing to “Culo” even at lunchtime!  The party was held in the top floor of a parking lot in downtown Bogota. We checked it out in the afternoon and it was an indoor soccer field, then when we went back that night, it had been transformed into a proper rave warehouse.

just a quick update to say we’ve had to cancel our show in kansas but we have added another in richmond VA on the 19th. so come check us out

Chile was a blast right from the start.. Our host, Roberto picked us up from the hotel with Miami Horror, and we went to a delightful country club in Santiago for lunch.  We were introduced to the national drink of Chile, the Pisco Sour… This one should have been called the Pisco Sledgehammer, because it pretty near knocked our heads off.. Must have had something to do with all the flying and intermittent sleeping patterns.

The party we played was unbelieveable! It was held in some sort of galactic terrordome, and we shared the bill with Miami Horror and Tiga!  It was definitely a case of extreme fun, lights, lazers and music..  Chile definitely knows how to hold a party!
